Nickel Plate Jazz Orchestra - Musicians Wanted
Fishers, Indiana – Fishers Music Works is excited to announce the re-launch of the Nickel Plate Jazz Orchestra, a 20-piece big band, and is actively seeking talented musicians to join the ensemble. We are looking for skilled players of saxophone, trumpet, trombone, guitar, bass, piano, and drums/percussion to help bring vibrant jazz performances back to the Fishers community.
The Nickel Plate Jazz Orchestra is known for its high-energy performances and diverse repertoire, ranging from classic big band tunes to contemporary jazz arrangements. With its full 20-piece ensemble, the band offers a rich, dynamic sound that will captivate audiences. This re-launch aims to revitalize the orchestra and offer musicians the chance to contribute to the cultural fabric of Fishers through memorable performances.
Instruments needed: Saxophone, trumpet, trombone, guitar, bass, piano, drums/percussion.

Eligibility
- Open to all experienced musicians with a passion for jazz and ensemble performance.
- Applicants should be comfortable reading music and improvising in a big band setting.
